at_connect_time

The at_connect_time attribute speciﬁes the number of minutes that an

ARA connection can remain open. To use this attribute:

1. From the Bay Networks program group window, double-click

on the appropriate icon to open the acp_userinfo ﬁle.

The acp_userinfo ﬁle opens in the Notepad editor.

2. Find the area of the ﬁle where entry information resides and

type

at_connect_time followed by the number of minutes.

user john

at_connect_time 12

The above example limits the session to twelve minutes.

at_nve_ﬁlter

The at_nve_ﬁlter attribute allows you to include or exclude users from

speciﬁc objects, network numbers, subzones, and zones. Specify one

at_nve_ﬁlter attribute for each user in a proﬁle. To use this attribute:

1. From the Bay Networks program group window, double-click

on the appropriate icon to open the acp_userinfo ﬁle.

The acp_userinfo ﬁle opens in the Notepad editor.

2. Find the area of the ﬁle where entry information resides and

type

at_nve_filter.

3. Type

include or exclude.

4. Enter an object name followed by a colon (:).

5. Enter a network number or subzone name followed by @.

6. Enter a zone name.

7. Type

end.
