Centillion Common Application
Routing Information
Designated Port
The Port Identifier of the port on the Designated Bridge for this port's
segment.
Forward Transitions
The number of times this port has transitioned from the Learning state to the
Forwarding state.
Source Routing
This view provides the following information:
Explorer Proxy
Indicates whether the bridge proxies explorer packets.
This view also contains the Source Routing Port Table which provides
information about every port that is associated with this source route bridge,
including:
Port
The number of the port for which this entry contains Source Route
management information.
ARE Hop Count
The maximum number of routing descriptors allowed in an All Paths Explorer
(ARE) frame.
STE Hop Count
The maximum number of routing descriptors allowed in a Spanning Tree
Explorer (STE) frame.
Routing Information
This Icon Subviews menu selection contains the following sub selections:
RIF Table
This view contains the RIF Table which provides the following routing
information used by stations:
Path
RIF field, read from left to right, i.e. read from the switch.
Index
Index into the RIF table. This index is used to enter an RIF in the station
table.
